WFP, UNICEF and the Health Pooled Fund (HPF) are cofunding a training on Nutrition in Emergency (NiE). In an environment of high staff turnover such as South Sudan, this training will help in standardizing the understanding and implementation of the key elements of nutrition in emergency (preparedness and response, needs assessment, strategic planning, resource mobilization, as well as review and monitoring) . The first of two rounds took place from 10 to 13 of April. Overall, the training will build the capacity of 120 staff from WFP, UNICEF, UNHCR, Ministry of Health and Cooperating Partners.
