More than eighty returnees have arrived in Aweil Northern Bahr el Ghazel State from Juba.
They were transported from a transit camp in Juba to Aweil by the International Organization for Migration the IOM.
Speaking to Radio Miraya, the State Director for South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission, Deng Kuel Kuel, said that more than one thousand, four hundred returnees are expected to arrive in Aweil from Khartoum soon by air.
"These are twenty three household and eighty six individuals. We expect to receive one thousand four hundred and forty individuals from Khartoum and we advise the two states of Western Bahr el Ghazal and Northern Bahr el Ghazal to receive these people said Deng Kuel Kuel.
The returnees were part of the twelve thousand South Sudanese who were stranded in Kosti and repatriated to Juba in May this year.
