Current Situation:
The convoy today has arrived with 153 new arrivals. This much lower figure, compared to yesterday’s figure of 461 is being attributed to the fuel shortage. Apparently, there are still areas that are experiencing transportation hitches as a result of this shortage. We shall continue to monitor the trends and daily operations on all fronts continue unabated.
This therefore brings the total number of arrivals received to 11,415. The estimated total camp population is now roughly 140,000. Majority of the new arrivals are still women and children.
