Due to the increased influx of South Sudanese seeking asylum in Kenya,
The Government of Kenya with Support from UNHCR decided to set up a reception center at Nadapal border point with South Sudan.
The Reception center being constructed and established by NRC once completed will have facilities to allow asylum seekers overnight and transported to Kakuma within appropriate time.
The center will have screening facilities, boarding facilities and other necessary facilities to facilitate a more dignified receipt of asylum seekers into the country.
