HIGHLIGHTS
As of 31 March 2014, 199,268 people were newly displaced in Darfur following a wave of violence involving Government security forces and armed movements.
Aid agencies have had some form of access to 132,000 of the newly displaced people in Darfur, accounting for about 66 per cent of the people who remain displaced
According to humanitarian organisations, about 106,600 newly displaced and affected people in Darfur received some form of assistance, including food aid and non - food relief supplies.
As of 25 March 2014, between 59,000 and 61,000 people from South Sudan had sought refuge in Sudan.
