22 child soldiers have been demobilized and reunited with their parents in Unity State this year, the Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration (DDR) commission revealed.
This brings the number of demobilized former child soldiers sine 2005 to 592, commission’s director George Gatloi said.
Gatloi told Radio Miraya that the fourth division of the Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA)’s child protection unit is cooperating with the DDR commission.
