South Sudan has sent monitoring teams to border areas and is screening arrivals at Juba International Airport, following an outbreak of Yellow Fever in Sudan's Darfur region.
No cases have been reported in South Sudan, but 130 people have died in Sudan with 600 others infected in November alone.
Deputy Director for the Ministry of Health's Integrated Diseases Survey Program, Tabu Odhwonh, spoke to Radio Miraya on Wednesday, a day after Sudan released its latest figures.
A medical unit has been set up at the airport to ensure that people are screened on arrival and possess vaccination cards, according to airport director, Kur Kuol Ajieu.
