A child protection campaign to support orphans and disabled children has been launched in Kajo-Keji County, Central Equatoria State.
The program is being undertaken by the Institute for the Promotion of Civil Society, a local non-governmental organization operating in the area.
The organization’s field coordinator, Joseph Jackson Lupai, explained to Radio Miraya that the children are given three months training in carpentry, building, catering, and other vocational skills.
The Institute for the Promotion of Civil Society is implementing the project with support from the United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF).
