A maternal and neonatal tetanus immunization campaign has been launched in Warrap State.
The campaign will see all females between the ages of 15 and 49 immunized against tetanus.
Immunization centers have been set up at Kuacjok hospital and Mayen Gumel Public health facility where the vaccines are being offered free of charge.
Warrap state minister for Health, Solomon Angui Mayuot, has assured communities that the vaccines are safe and has urged all women of child bearing age to get vaccinated.
The campaign is being conducted by the Warrap State Ministry of Health in collaboration with the World Health Organization, UN children's organization UNICEF and other health partners.
The vaccination exercise ends on Monday.
