At least 9,000 households could have improved access to clean water when the state government drills 250 boreholes in all the counties as planned this year.
The deputy director for Rural and Water Sanitation, Peter Erjok Ayor, said the state government plans to also build 80 pit latrines.
Erjok, said that the major challenges of the projects are lack of funds and difficulty in mobility due to the poor status of the roads.
